So, what will the HSPD-12 Credential Engineer at CertiPath do?
You will work in a fast-paced environment where you will take a hands-on approach in helping federal clients with Identity Management Systems and Credential Management Systems. A strong understanding of public key infrastructure and smartcard technology (e.g., PIV credentials) are required to support our clients. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting edge solutions. What does a typical day look like for the HSPD-12 Credential Engineer?
Although no two days will be the same, you will:
- Design, deploy, operate and maintain CMS tools and new capabilities in enterprise on premise and Cloud environments
- Develop installation, configuration, and deployment methods including scripting, use of APIs, orchestration, automation, and database services to support the integration and configuration of credentialing
- Work with architects, integration engineers, and developers to design solutions and improve data quality, security, and compliance or extend current capabilities and offerings to customers
- Work closely with management support teams and customer network and operations teams to establish and document requirements to complete implementation and configuration tasks
- Develop and maintain detailed installation documentation, user guides and SOPs as required
- Experience working with databases (Microsoft SQL Server), understanding of DB structures, data types, and creating complex SQL DB queries
- Provide tool operations and maintenance support, Tier 3 customer support, and act as the subject matter expert
- Ability to troubleshoot broad-ranging issues (operating systems, network, firewall, COTS products, access and authentication)
- Accomplish extract, transform, and load operations to retrieve enrichment content from existing hardware, software, system boundary inventories
What qualifications do you look for?
You might be the HSPD-12 Credential Engineer we’re looking for if you have:
- US Citizenship
- Minimum Clearance: Top Secret
- At least a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8 years of total experience in the security industry, 2 years of which includes
experience integration, testing and developing identity security solutions that address logical and physical access use cases - Experience performing on federal contracting engagements onsite
- Hands-on experience integrating, troubleshooting, deploying and maintaining MyID CMS and its associated peripherals (smart card readers, biometric capture devices)
- A strong understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), PIV credentialing (FIPS 201-3/NIST SP-800-73-4), and Public Key Enablement (PKE)
- Full understanding of the revocation model and capabilities available within PKI to include Certificate Revocation List (CRL)s and Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP)
- Proven skills in the following:

- Working with smartcards, tokens, virtual smartcards, mobile/derived credentials and biometrics
- Working in data driven environments preparing scripted translations and transfers to disparate repositories and/or downstream systems
- Working with Card/Credential Management Systems to produce credential objects and programmatically utilizing data interfaces they provide to extract them
- Performing software development activities in an agile environment
- Using design methodologies, tools, and object-oriented principles
- Supporting network, operating systems, database, application or data layers across multiple platforms and technologies (i.e., firewalls, IDS, system hardening, VPN, host and application security)
- Installing and configuring Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems, servers and services physically and in the cloud
- Managing SQL databases
We’re extra impressed by folks with:
- IT Security Certification (e.g., CISSP, CSEIP, CSCIP/G)
- Program Management Certification (e.g., PMP)

So, what will the Program Analyst at CertiPath do?
You will work in a fast-paced environment where you will take a hands-on approach to help a Federal Agency with its nationwide Physical Security Program Office (Program). You will support several aspects of program oversight, including monitoring progress toward meeting program objectives, analyzing data, identifying trends, preparing reports, and communicating essential information to the Program team and its stakeholders. Best of all, you’ll get to grow your experience working alongside smart people to solve problems that make the world a safer, more efficient place.
What does a typical day look like for the Program Analyst?
Although no two days will be the same, you will:
- Provide technical, administrative, and operational support for the Program
- Produce Program reporting and metrics using Microsoft Power BI
- Ensure quality of services and deliverables following the Quality Assurance Plan
- Participate in the execution of technical project plans, reports, and administrative reporting
- Interact with various levels of both the contractor and government program management office to support taskings and requests for information
- Identify system improvement recommendations
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned, with a focus on Microsoft SharePoint and Power BI software
- Participate in special projects as required
What qualifications do you look for?
You might be the Program Analyst we’re looking for if you have:
- US Citizenship
- At least a bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related scientific or technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
- 4 years of total experience, 2 years of which includes program analyst support for a US federal client
- Aptitude to:
- provide expert-level ability with the Microsoft Power BI, SharePoint, and Visio
- learn and adapt quickly to changing requirements
- demonstrate superior grammar, as well as written and verbal communication skills
- work both under limited supervision and in a team environment
- Experience developing strategies that optimize statistical efficiency, including data analyses or data collection systems
- Capability to research and analyze information to present it through documentation and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with business solutions, program or project management, planning, scheduling, and briefing material preparation
- Aptitude to gather resource material from a variety of resources, including Subject Matter Experts, Engineers, and Analysts
- Ability to develop and present oral and written communications to decision-makers, including the neutral presentation of findings

- Experience working with the US Marshals Service or the Department of Justice
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Lean/Six Sigma Analysis skills

What does a typical day look like for the PACS Design Engineer?
Although no two days will be the same, you will:
- Leverage Program Standards to provide security design drawings which include work areas, conceptual pathway and infrastructure requirements, network and cabling diagrams, rack elevations and other designs necessary to convey the scope of work requirements or to document as-built conditions
- Document security deficiencies identified and develop solutions compliant with Enterprise Architecture design criteria
- Provide security equipment recommendations (e.g. PACS, CCTV, VMS, IDMS)
- Provide technical guidance to Engineering staff
- Support implementation, test and deployment of systems
- Present guidance and support to stakeholders on Federal policies and Program Standards
- Offer industry best practices and lessons learned from federal engagement past performance
- Be an active participant in your development along your career path

You might be the PACS Design Engineer we’re looking for if you have:
- US Citizenship
- At least a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6 years of total experience in the security industry, 4 years of which includes performing proactive federal agency ICAM architecture design and implementation activities
- 2 years of recent experience using computer-aided drafting (CAD) systems to prepare or revise engineering drawings
- Hands-on installation, configuration and maintenance of FICAM compliant Physical Access Control Systems
- Experience with PKI and Federal smart card technology (Personal Identity Verification cards – PIV)
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to:
- Draft Scopes of Work and Technical Drawing Packages to be used by procurement officials for solicitations and RFIs
- Promote standardization of equipment and configuration management, and
- Perform evaluations and assessments of highly complex projects
We’re extra impressed by folks with:
- Specific experience and/or certification in Identiv’s Hirsch Velocity product
- Working knowledge of FIPS 201-2, HSPD-12, OMB memorandums, NIST publications (800-116-1, 800-53, 800-73-4), and CIO Council papers
- IT and PACS Security Certification (e.g., Comp TIA Security+, PSP, CSEIP or CISSP)

What does a typical day look like for the CAD Professional??
Although no two days will be the same, you will:
- Perform technically superior design and drafting using AutoCAD for production, direction and training purposes
- Produce quality deliverables and advise team engineers with problem solving
- Be an active participant in a project’s lifecycle – setting up files, producing charts, drawings, revisions, mark-ups, and diagrams
- Apply design criteria from federal standards to project drawings
- Attend project meetings and design reviews
- Record and document building and/or systems conditions utilizing specified criteria and scope
- Offer industry best practices and lessons learned from federal engagement past performance
- Be an active participant in your development along your career path
What qualifications do you look for?
You might be the CAD Professional we’re looking for if you have:
- US Citizenship
- At least a bachelor’s degree in construction based engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6 years of total experience, 2 years of which includes performing physical security system architecture design and implementation of PACS and CCV for federal agencies
- 4 years of recent experience using computer-aided drafting (CAD) systems to prepare or revise engineering drawings
- In-depth experience with Autodesk AutoCAD (certification is a plus)
- Practical application of creating drawings that comply with National CAD Standards v6 and updating non-compliant drawings to meet the standard
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to:
- Draft Technical Drawing Packages to be used by procurement officials for solicitations and RFIs, and
- Promote standardization of equipment and ensure implementation of best practices
We’re extra impressed by folks with:
- Experience in developing security system layouts with minimal supervision using Agency standards and policies as a design guide
- Working knowledge and/or certification in Revit, Cameo and ePlan
- Familiarity with HSPD-12
- Hands-on installation and configuration of physical security or network equipment
- Specific experience and/or certification in Identiv’s Hirsch Velocity product
