TrustVisitor continuously validates electronic credentials and automatically facilitates access to the appropriate location for the duration of an event.

HOW DOES TRUSTVISITOR WORK?

Employees create events via their calendar application as they normally would do.

TrustVisitor then determines which event attendees already have access to the location and which do not have access. It makes this determination for attendees internal to an organization and external attendees who are not part of the organization.

Attendees who need temporary access to the location receive links to register for the specific event.

WHAT IS THE VISITOR REGISTRATION PROCESS?

Attendees can use high-assurance smart cards (e.g., Personal Identity Verification [PIV], Common Access Card [CAC], or PIV-Interoperable) or lower assurance government-issued identification (e.g., a driver’s license or passport) to pre-register for events. When an attendee pre-registers with a lower assurance government-issued form of ID, the attendee is issued a temporary Commercial Identity Verification [(CIV)] smart card upon arrival at the event location.

TrustVisitor Mobile Approval allows Approvers to approve or reject guests via mobile devices.

How it Works:

When a guest registers for an event, TrustVisitor sends an approval email to the appropriate Approver or group for the event location.

The approval email contains details about the guest, the event, and the location. If clients use the integrated FedCheck background check validation tool, the approval email also contains background check details on the guest.

The Approver (and the organization’s security department, as appropriate) simply replies to the approval email with one of the following commands: “Approve,” “Approve-Escort Required,” “Reject,” or “Reject and Add to Do Not Admit List.”

Approvers can include comments in the email reply.

Throughout the day, Security and Approver personnel are often away from their desks.

The ability to make approval decisions using mobile devices allows Approvers to quickly review important details and easily submit informed approval decisions.

This feature accommodates Approvers’ typical daily responsibilities and busy schedules. It gives them flexibility to perform these approval tasks virtually at any time or any place.

Wellness Screening Feature:

When the wellness screening feature is enabled, attendees must undergo and pass wellness screenings before they can enter event locations.

Wellness screening can be configured to require an online wellness submission within 1 or 2 days before an event takes place. Alternately, employees and visitors can be required to submit an in-person wellness assessment in the location lobby.

Wellness screening for employees can be configured so that a failed or unsubmitted wellness response automatically deactivates an employee’s physical access credential.
